Happy Monday!

BookTok has given me so much over the last year and a half! I've read many a book from it and I recommend it.

This book about Marjorie Post looks interesting!

Would love to see some of these famous writers' homes — especially Jane Austen and Edith Wharton.

I'm not sure I would like cherry cardamom cream buns but they sure look pretty.

I was making a cocktail for Jennifer Hosten and stumbled across the movie Misbehaviour that I haven't heard of — it's going on my watch list!

Charlotte followers: Pizza Baby sounds like it'll be delicious, the Pink Boots Society is so cool, love seeing the neon signs of Charlotte compiled, Batchmaker is one of my favorite spots in the city, new restaurant coming to Plaza,

How a food editor redefined her complicated relationship with food.

A local's guide to Brevard, North Carolina — adding on my must-visit list!

12 books to read for Women's History Month.

Things to watch in March — I loved the first season of Perry Mason!

Why you should learn about the CROWN Act.

I had never heard of the Armed Services Editions, but it's fascinating to know how books got people through such horrific periods of time and created life-long readers.

So jealous of this Jeep Grand Wagoneer!

I am not the biggest fan of Cheerwine...but I kinda want to go to the festival?

Do I want to go to Copenhagen now? Yes!

An epic North Carolina waterfall tour that is going on my list of things to do this summer.

Inside the early days of J.Crew.

Some women-owned businesses to check out this month (and every month).

50 ways to romanticize your life this spring — some of these are on my to do list as well.

North by Northwest is one of my favorites, is the real star Cary Grant's suit?

Pink Heart Bash

Pink Heart Glasses
For my 27th birthday I decided to finally embrace my birthday's proximity to Valentine's Day (I was born the evening before the "love" holiday). For years I've hated it but this year, the TikTok girlies got me into the aesthetically pleasing heart world, so I threw a Pink Heart Bash. It was so fun to decorate for and it genuienly brought me so much joy, so it was worth it! I've included links to everything I can find that I purchased so you can throw your very own. Maybe use it for inspo for your next Galentine's Day party, or just a way to celebrate someone you love — a heart bash does not need to take place in February!

The Decor

Pink Tinsel Curtain, Silver Tinsel Curtain, Pink Heart Balloons, White Painter's Tape

Light Pink Balloons

Love sign (Target dollar section), Ceramic Cake, Trader Joe's flowers

Cardstock Hearts (homemade), Light Pink Streamers

The Food

Heart Bowl, Heart Plates, Pink Tray, Pink Scalloped Container, Trader Joe's Wool Garland

Got a custom cake made in Charlotte — so good!

Cherry Cotton Candy for Prosecco cocktails

Heart Paper Plate, Trader Joe's Bambino Pizzas

The Invitations
