Game Day Make-Up

When I go to sporting events, I like to wear make-up but I want it to be light and simple, so here is my guide to Game Day Make-Up

1. Wash face (I use Noxzema)

2. Moisturize (I use Clean and Clear Dual Action)

3. Pick a simple eye shadow (my go-to is Almay)

4. Apply Eye Shadow (Clinque is my absolute favorite)

5. Apply eye liner 

(Revlon Color Stay works well with blue eyes)

6. Apply lipstick/lip balm (I use Clinique Golden Brandy)

7. Lastly put on some perfume

 (I have PINK in Tally)

The things below are my keys to survival when driving 7 hours to Tallahassee, or anywhere for that matter. 

Creation of Outfits

When going on a weekend get-away, I have to plan my outfits, they must be comfortable yet chic. Since I am going to Tally this weekend all of my outfits involve the same color (garnet) so enjoy my photos of preparation! 

I make a list on a small index card and 

put it in my bag so I know what to wear.

Day Trip

Day trips are something I thrive on. Something about getting in the car and leisurely going somewhere to eat at a favorite restaurant or visit something you have never seen before even though you lived in the state your whole life. This past weekend I visited Sarasota, had lunch at the Columbia in St. Armands Circle and visited a plantation, the farthest south in Florida. Below are some photos, enjoy!

I'm Back!

It's official, the computer holiday is over! Lots of books were read and lots of yard work was done! I have so many posts lined up, and they are all amazing. Next week I am off to Texas via Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Hope you all are having a fantastic summer, I know I am!

The Carrie Bradshaw's

These cupcakes take absolutely no effort whatsoever. All you need is Funfetti cake mix, vanilla icing, and a ton of sprinkles (preferably colorful sugars). You take a cookie sheet, throw all your sprinkles on it and then dunk each cupcake in it to create an over the top, fashionista cupcake. When making these we decided they looked like something Carrie Bradshaw would wear. 

Floppy Hat Necessary

 Summer is a fantastic time, but in Florida it is necessary to wear a hat with pretty much every outfit. Hope you all have a great week!
