Summer To Do List Update

This is the last update before the wrap up so I only have a little bit of time to get the last few things done— xoxo darling, Hayden.

Newly Completed/Partially Completed:

Find a new pair of sunglasses — Completed this when I bought these cute heart-shaped glasses for the blog's ninth birthday shoot

Go on a Girls Trip — I've done two of these now! Liz and I went to Camp Amache while Jess and I went to Vail. Both were so much fun!

Make s'mores — I finally bought the supplies and made breakfast s'mores...t'was a great decision.

Go on three day-trip roadtrips — I've now done more than three with my trip to Camp Amache and another trip I'll be posting about soon!

Drink rose & read an entire book outside — Finished A Rogue of One's Own in an afternoon and I loved it so much!

Better your frozen drink game — I have finally perfect my frose and the trick is to freeze your juice into ice cubes — so grapefruit juice, watermelon juice, strawberry juice, etc.

Ride a carousel — Woo!

Try all the farmers markets — I have three left!

Taste-test all the ice cream parlors — I think I have like two left in the Denver area.

Visit the botanical garden — Going tonight!

Pick some flowers — Going tomorrow!

Read some beach reads — I'm planning on reading all day on Monday.

Already Completed:

Make popsicles
Go to a fair
Try on a nap dress
Find a "Beer of the Summer"
Splash in a pool
See a traveling exhibit

Up Next:

Have patio drinks with friends
Eat ice cream in a park

Monthly Inspiration No. 23

Can y'all believe it is September?  I certainly can't! I'm shook that college football season is upon us this weekend. But I am thrilled. I'm ready for the weather to get chillier, I'm ready for sweaters and I'm ready to enjoy some pumpkin spice...I won't lie. I've also felt like the end of August/beginning of September is kind of a restart...maybe it's the idea of people going back to school? I just kind of feel like a refresh is in sight. How are y'all? — xoxo darling, Hayden

University of Texas at Austin Burnt Orange Clohtes

Can y'all believe Texas football season is just over a week away?  I am so excited to be back in my burnt orange almost every day, so I thought I would round-up some burnt orange items for you to add to your wardrobe. Yes, you can wear all of these if you went to UT but also, burnt orange screams fall, so wear them if you aren't even a Longhorn. Hook em — xoxo darling, Hayden.
