Week Re-Cap

It has been a week. I am still not feeling well (and now I'm not hungry...which is weird for me y'all). So I am monitoring that and getting ready to make a doctor's appointment (which is one of my least favorite things ever). I have spent a lot of time in bed and a TON of time studying. In between that, I visited the Blanton Museum with my FIGlets, participated in yet another Big Little Reveal, went to Barton Springs, and a few other things. This weekend is jam packed with various events & I am very excited about it! What are y'all up to? -xoxo darling, Hayden

Big Little Reveal

Yet another Big Little Reveal is in the books for the LBs. I was so happy to welcome Melina in to my fam as her GG-Big...like woah I'm already a GG-Big?! CRAZY. Fall To-Do List

I know we are firmly into Fall but I am just now getting around to making a to-do list. And I am excited about it. I just started working on my pumpkin {it's a little something like last year's but with a Texas twist} and Hannah & I are working on a horseback riding trip. Is it okay that now I admit I am really scared of riding a horse???? Because I am kind of terrified but my 101 in 1001 is about conquering my fears...so we shall see. I am going to a pumpkin party next week & I can't wait to eat all of the pumpkin flavored items...I'm making my famous pumpkin spice cupcakes with cinnamon cream cheese icing. My balcony has been used approximately 4 times...so I am trying to use it more once it gets nice outside. I'm thinking Saturday/Sunday mornings with a mug of hot coffee & a good book or magazine. The Ladybirds is having a clothing drive in November & I need to donate so what better way than to clean out my closet? My dad is flying in the first weekend of November so we can go to Lubbock, Texas {where Texas Tech University is located} so I am pumped to be visiting a new Texas town. The amount of scarves I own is scary but I always forget to wear them. I am making it a priority to wear all of my scarves at least once this fall/winter season. And finally, I will be early voting on Monday because I hate lines & I cannot wait to vote for the first female {hopefully} president. Week Re-Cap

Y'all. I have been so sick this week that I have very little photos. I spent all weekend re-watching things on Netflix {Bring It On & 10 Things I Hate About You}, sleeping, and coughing. I got outside for the football game & a trip to South Congress that I had been planning for weeks. I am only just now getting back in the swing of going to meetings at night and doing fun things again. This cold + cough has really knocked me on my butt. However, I am getting better. This weekend I have a few things planned but really I will be doing a lot of studying for finance. How are y'all? -xoxo darling, Hayden

A Weekend in Dallas

Last weekend Hannah & I ventured to Dallas for a little weekend getaway. We had a BLAST! Below are all of the photos we took and a vlog I made documenting everything we did. If any of y'all have been to Dallas you'll probably recognize Neiman Marcus, the Dallas Arboretum, the State Fair, and more. Hope y'all are having a wonderful Tuesday-xoxo darling, Hayden.

We went downtown to the Green Belt to watch the downtown lights.

We had a reservation for Sissy's at 9:15pm & we had no regrets. 

I had the fried chicken followed by coconut cream pie & it was fab.

Saturday bright and early we got up, grabbed Whataburger 

& headed to the Red River Rivalry! 

We may have lost the game but we all won the day.

Week Re-Cap

Whew, what a week it has been. I am still recovering from a very tiring, draining, but amazing week. It started off with a 6am wake-up call on Wednesday morning to go to "Luke's Diner" in Austin then was followed by a Thursday evening drive to Dallas, a Friday spent at Neiman Marcus, a Saturday spent at the Texas State Fair, a Sunday spent in the car, a Monday studying extremely hard, and a Tuesday of taking a test/finally going to bed at a decent hour. Fall Wardrobe Essentials

My favorite season is upon us {well, it doesn't feel that way in Texas, but we're getting there}! Fall is my favorite because of the leaves, the weather, the football, and Thanksgiving {my favorite holiday}. Week Re-Cap

Oh my...it has been a loooong week and it is only Wednesday {but on the positive side we are on the downhill}. I have been going hard Monday, Tuesday, and today {my day started at 6am this morning and doesn't end until approx. 9:30pm tonight...and then I have to pack}. BUT, everything has been going well! I have spent a lot of time in office hours, in meetings, and in classes. Tomorrow Hannah & I are off to Dallas for a long weekend. WE ARE SO EXCITED! Happy Monday Darlings! After a very productive weekend {both in school work & mental health} I am so ready to tackle this week! It does help that the bestie & I are taking a little trip this weekend!
