Week Re-Cap

Happy Wednesday darlings! I don't know how this happened but I hardly took any photos of my week. I'm really not sure how this happened; but I apologize. As I write this I will admit I have a pretty big headache, so we are going to keep it short and sweet. I had a nice week; I'm a little stressed out about this award thing I'm doing for my organization but as of today it is over. Thank goodness. I have a test tomorrow so I'll be studying for it and then I'm pretty much home free for a while. I have a design project due next week but I'm excited about it so I shouldn't struggle too much.
Anyway, I hope your Wednesday is going well - xoxo darling, Hayden.
Celebrated National Margarita Day at Maudie's.
Milkshakes at Dirty Martin's.
A study date at Radio Coffee.
I'm so excited to say I have been selected as a Cactus Yearbook StandoUT recipient. Basically it just says I was really involved. We took the photos this past week and I really love this one.
Finally got to visit Pool Burger and I loved it.
The aesthetic is amazing and so well thought out.
I even took this little plastic cup with me at the end of the night because I loved it.
The burgers were nicely cooked, they gave my g-little about two
oranges for her side of orange slices, and her grilled cheese was delicious.

Dreaming of Spring

So many bloggers have been talking about their hopes for spring recently that I thought I would join the crowd. While I love fall and winter the most, spring is a close third. The floral prints are always fun and I truly think you can really bring your Lilly out and wear it as much as possible. Spring break is a little over 10 days away and I am so excited to take Serena home with me. Hopefully y'all have some fun trips planned this spring -- did you see Hannah and I are going to Denver? - xoxo darling, Hayden.
{Stripe Top, Dress, Blazer, Earrings, Top, Sunglasses, Shoes, Swim Suit, Purse}

Stripe Top - I have always wanted a top that drapes like this but I haven't found the right one. I'm loving the very millennial pink stripes on this one. It would be cute with dark jeans and flats or white jeans and sandals. If it's chilly throw a jean jacket over.
Dress - Does his dress not just scream spring? I like the sleeve + halter combo. I think this would be an adorable graduation dress {weird that I'm thinking about this...possibly for the last time ever?}. It would look cute with some wedges for a dress up brunch or with sandals for a walk along the beach.
Blazer - Oh my goodness I'm kind of in love with this extreme spring blazer. This is the perfect statement piece for your work wardrobe. Wear a white oxford, black pants and simple shoes but this baby and bam - spring.
Earrings - I do not have my ears pierced {whaaaat?} but I think these are such a cute spring accessory. They aren't the first thing you would grab but I think the colors would go extremely well with your spring wardrobe.
Top - Loving this blue and white top from J. Crew. It would look great over dark jeans or a pair of nantucket red shorts, don't you think? Pair it with some gold Jack Rogers and you are ready for a spring baseball game or a nice dinner out on your spring break.
Sunglasses - Everyone needs a new pair of sunnies for their trip to Cancun or Florida for spring break. I'm loving this millennial pink pair to add a pop of color to any outfit. Wearing all white {or all navy in my case?} throw these in your bag and you'll be ready to go.
Shoes - I've never had a pair of SeaVees but these look dang comfortable and I love them for a subtle pop of spring if you work in a business casual setting. You can pair them with a dark top, jeans and minimal accessories but you'll be in the spring mood on your feet.
Swim Suit - I love this one piece. I don't think I can pull it off but it is so dang cute. The colors are absolutely perfect and I can see someone rocking this on a beautiful white beach with a cute sun hat, sarong and Havaianas
Purse - This purse is for my more "grown-up" readers but I think this would be a great spring accessory because it adds that pop of color your business outfits need. Plus, who doesn't love a classic pocketbook. You can totally see the Queen using this - can't you?

My Anthem

Currently life is really good but really stressful. And for the first time, possibly in my whole life, that stress isn't related to school or friendships or anything else. It's solely due to the attempt to find a job. That's right, I'm graduating in approximately three months and four days. THREE MONTHS. I am absolutely terrified to not know what I'll be doing after I graduate or where I will be living. This is the first time ever I've had to deal with this amount of extreme uncertainty.
But while that is crazy scary I've been applying for jobs like a madwoman. Writing cover letter after cover letter {which if you know me is my least favorite thing, possibly in the world}, uploading my resume to various sites and hoping that something will come for me.
Throughout this whole process I've been listening to one song on constant repeat and it has given me the ability to keep trying no matter how sick I am of writing about myself. It's "Survivor" by 2WEI for the new Lara Croft movie. I have always loved the song from Destiny's Child but this edition makes me feel like such a fearless girl boss.
If you want to take a listen on Spotify, I've included my Study playlist because that is what I listen to whenever I'm working on my computer. But y'all, I've played "Survivor" about 800 times and I swear by its ability to do things for you. It is my anthem and I'm really happy with that.
What is your anthem at the moment? - xoxo darling, Hayden

Week Re-Cap

This week has been a great one - have I been saying that every week? - my parents visited, my spirit group had brunch and the new Austin exhibit opened. I have a big project due tomorrow that I'm #stressed about but it will be okay! I'm going to kill it. Also, applying for jobs is hard and I'm #stressed about that too {if you have any job opportunities, let me know}. Other than that I am really excited about the weekend. One of my good friends and I have some things going on Friday, it's Ladybirds parent's weekend on Saturday so I have some fun things planned and more.
What are y'all up to? - xoxo darling, Hayden

22nd Birthday

Last week I had a pretty good 22nd birthday. It started with my best friend driving up and we had a REAL blast. I love her so much and it is always so nice to haver her in Austin. And guess what?! We are planning a trip to Denver in late March. We are so excited - the flights are booked and the planning has begun. After that my friends and I went out to dinner at Gloria's in downtown Austin on my actual birthday. It was so nice to have them all in one place.
I want to thank all of y'all for your wishes and happy birthdays last week. Y'all are real gems - xoxo darling, Hayden.
Dinner at Mattie's with Hannah.
Serena is the most perfect bestie a girl could ask for.
Marcus probably knows THE MOST about me because of statistics.
 Love Debz.
My {one of many} little Bailey!
One of my all time favorite humans.
This girl, who turned 21 on Feb. 14th, is wonderful.
The lovely Alyssa.
