Week Re-Cap

The Plant Hotel at the University of Tampa
Ahhh that first week after the holidays...what a fun one! I'm making my way through, with plenty of iced coffee. A lot of these photos come from the past holidays of 2021, we went up to Tampa and had a blast — eating, drinking, etc. But we spent Christmas Day and New Year's Eve/New Years in Fort Myers with friends. 2022 is off to a fairly fine start. We've been walking, hanging and jump starting the work week. I'm not looking forward to going back to the cold in late January, so I'm trying to soak up all the good weather in FM right now. How are you?

Brunch at McGregor Cafe

Blue Dog on Matlacha

Hike in Cape Coral

Downtown Bonita Springs is so beautiful at Christmas.

Holiday walk around Dean Park

The last book I read in 2021, Winter Counts, and it was so good. I highly recommend.
Obsessed with the main building at the University of Tampa.
Victorian Christmas stroll

Brunch at Oxford Exchange didn't disappoint.

I truly thought OE would just be for show, but these breakfast tacos were delightful.

Their bathroom tile reminds me of Zoe Sugg's bathroom.

Brunch at Daily Eats in Tampa

One of my favorite salads, the 1905 from the Columbia

A good reminder.

Bacon B!tch in St. Pete

My neighborhood's luminaries bring a smile to my face every year.

We made apple cake for Christmas.
Post-Christmas boardwalk hikes
Late lunch at Blue Storm in Cape Coral

Telegraph Creek Preserve hike

One of my favorite houses in Fort Myers.

First book completed in 2022! I like the Thursday Murder Club series a lot and The Man Who Died Twice was cute.

Breakfast at Skilletz

New Year's Eve hike

Made some amazing ginger and iced oatmeal cookies.

Nachos from The Pub in Ave Maria

Can you spot the alligator?
