The Driskill Hotel

If you remember this post from September, you'll remember The Driskill Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Texas {and apparently the most haunted}. It is a classic hotel with restaurants, a beautiful lobby and pretty spectaclar bathrooms. I had the opportunity to spend a night in the historic hotel a few weeks ago and it was an awesome experience.
The hotel is located on 6th Street {yes, that 6th Street} and makes for beautiful photo opportunities. I stayed in a smaller room that had HIGH ceilings and a black and white bathroom at the strangest {but yet cool} angle. The bed was comfortable {and so was the couch}. I also was able to try the 1886 Bakery which had been closed for renovations until recently. The Austin American {after our local newspaper} Breakfast was delicious {loved the purple potatoes} and the chocolate croissant was heated to perfection.
If you are coming to A-town I would highly suggest you stay in this fab hotel-xoxo darling, Hayden.
