61 in 1001 Update

Y'all we are so close to this 61 in 1001 being done! This will probably be the last update before the list is officially done. Check out the things I've checked off below and what I've still got to work on.

RECENTLY FINISHED:
4. Do 4 more Haute Table travel guides — Finally finished this goal with my Portland post.
2. Travel to a new state — I went to Minnesota and Ohio this summer and I really enjoyed both. The Midwest was a fairly new territory for my family and I but we had a fun time.
7. Go on a girls trip — Lauren, Blair and I went to Steamboat Springs back in May and it was honestly a blast. I forget sometimes that escaping from the city with your two besties can be incredible.
13. Visit a friend — Speaking of the same concept as above, I visited Serena in May as well. We had such a lovely time and I fell more in love with Portland. It's just so pretty!
24. Travel by myself — I'm alone most of the time...what can I say I enjoy my own company. But I did rent my first car...by myself, so I'm counting it.
29. Travel to a new country — This one came as a last-minute surprise to me. I was invited by my company to Canada for a conference. So I went to Toronto and visited Canada for the first time!
32. Re-read all of the Harry Potter books — Finished this goal back in the spring and...while I still loved them because the story is incredible I don't think I would recommend someone to read them for the first time. There's some really problematic stuff in the books I didn't understand as a kid.
33. See an opera — I saw Carmen in May and was floored by how much I liked it. I see more opera ventures in my future.
53. Go to a drag brunch — For Pride in June I was invited by a drag queen to their drag brunch and the roomie and I had a blast.

STILL WORKING:
1. Read 100 books — I've read 96 thus far!

UPCOMING:
19. Find a financial planner — I think it's finally time.
25. Attend the symphony — I need to check out the Charlotte Symphony...they have some things this fall that look really good.
34. Add a new layer to my skincare routine — Just need to figure out what it is.
41. Go on a fall foliage trip — Very excited about this one! My parents and I are doing NC this year.
56. Bake bread — Focaccia is coming soon.
60. Buy perfume I truly like — Kind of want to make my own?
