Juneteenth

Juneteenth is the commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. On June 19th 1865 news arrived in Galveston, Texas that the war had ended and the enslaved were now free. The fact that this holiday isn't recognized federally is a true issue. Why do we celebrate the Fourth but not this important freedom-gaining holiday?

In order to celebrate I thought I would collect some resources for you to learn more. From donating to learning, let's take this day to support Black Lives Matter.
