My dad is absolutely obsessed with James Lee Burke books, especially those involving Dave Robicheaux. So when we drove back through Louisiana, we decided to go on a literary journey through the small town of New Iberia (where the books are set). These gritty pieces have a lot in common with the actual town, and below is the evidence. I would highly suggest you go if you have enjoyed his books and take the historic walking tour.
