Current Inspiration

I've always been the person who cuts her magazines up to make collages of the outfits she aspires to wear or the places she wants to go or the things she wants to bake. But I stopped in college because I barely had time to read a magazine and it just felt different. Why cut things out that I didn't have time to bake or wear or visit? But now I'm back at it...just a little less chaotic than my previous versions. This time I'm only picking, almost, full magazine pages that inspire me based on the photos they hold or they layouts they use. Then I'm taping them to a wall — with painter's tape — that nothing else would fit on because it's too narrow. And let me tell you, I'm loving it. There is something so exciting about creating an inspo wall...every time I see it I want to sit down at my desk, crack open my laptop and boot up Illustrator or InDesign.
So, I thought I would share with y'all some of the magazine pages/post cards/other items that are gracing my wall at the moment. Clearly, I'm liking heavy black accents and artful flat-lays. What are some of your current favorite design trends? Do you have an inspo wall too? - xoxo darling, Hayden
A little throwback to my previous board...
