I do not think I'm unique in saying it is incredibly hard to celebrate this country. And I haven't felt like celebrating the fourth in years. When your human rights are stripped away by a country that prides itself on personal freedom...it's hard. So, we aren't celebrating, we're sharing resources. I hope you take today to treat yourself to something special — be that a fancy dinner or a veg sesh on the couch with your favorite movies. It's brutal out there and the fight for everyone is not lessening.
