I MET SAMANTHA BROWN!!!

So if you don't know me personally, you probably won't know about my love of Samantha Brown & all of her TV shows on Travel Channel. When I was younger and my fam first started talking about going to Prague {I swear I was in elementary school} I downloaded her Prague episode onto my ORIGINAL iPod. Then watched it about a billion times. Finally we went to the magical city last summer. One thing really stuck in my mind on that episode and it was the apple strudel. So what did I look up when we were planning our trip?! The strudel place of course! In the episode it makes it look pretty simple to get to, however, IT WASN'T. My dad and I took a train across the water and then proceeded to walk for what seemed like forever through some pretty shady neighborhoods. I wanted to give up but my dad persisted and we ended up in some Soviet-era housing area. Soon enough, there was the little hole in the wall that was Susta Strudel. We paid for our pastry {the man did not speak English} and

started the long trek back. This is the best part, a lovely {no amazing} local stopped us and asked where we were headed {Namestiki Republiki}. He pointed us up a hill where you could catch a tram. Right. Back. To. Our. Hotel. Yep, turns out it wasn't hard at all. Anyways, she gave a talk at an event I was at and she mentioned the aforementioned strudel. So afterwards my fam stopped her and explained we had gone and found it. It was amazing to meet her & I grabbed a quick photo with her before our lunch was over. Do y'all love her as much as I do?
