Movie Review: Argo

What can I say bad about Argo? I absolutely loved this movie, the acting was phenomenal and it really portrayed how the whole incident went down in history. The last half hour of the movie seemed like all eternity, and it literally had me screaming at my TV for them to run faster. Of course there was some Hollywood creative license, but I still must admit I was on the edge of my seat. I feel like this whole event was so suspenseful for all the players involved, and the American public didn't even know about it, that makes the movie even better. The subtle jokes, there is one about the two old guys in the muppets, and the joke about the movie title are perfect. Ben Affleck did a fantastic job with the whole thing, and probably should've been nominated for Best Director. However, this movie truly fits the Best Motion Picture build, and I hope you go out and see it soon!

Strawberry Cakes

My mom absolutely loves Strawberry cupcakes, so for Mother's Day every year I bake them for her. I use a family recipe (that I am not willing to give away) for the cake, and then Sprinkle's Cupcakes strawberry icing which you can find on MarthaStewart.com.
